You can subscribe to someone's feed simply by hitting Alt-J in IE 7, or in Firefox, in the address bar at the top is one of those little orange RSS icons. Instead of using browsers though, I use Google Feed Reader. It's so much easier to keep track of sites you like in a Feed Reader. Before I used it, I was trying to manually keep up with about two dozen sites every day. These are sites where people can submit articles they find useful from blogs (or regular websites), and then others of their users visit the pages and vote on whether or not they find it worthwhile. The biggest traffic generator for me has been StumbleUpon... by far. You can see them yourself by going to StumbleUpon.com, Reddit.com, and Digg.com. There are others, but these are the ones I’ve found that actually send me traffic.
